Saint Fotios is produced from the indigenous Cypriot grape variety “Maratheftiko”. It exists only in Cyprus and nowhere else in the world. These grapes are cultivated on small plots at altitudes of 3000 feet in calcarcous limestone soil, and the yield per vine is very small. The high densities of the color and fragrance make this wine truly unique. Enjoy it with red meat and mature cheeses. Best served at 61 – 65 degrees Fahrenheit (16 – 18 degrees Celsius).
